I have an iPad Pro 9.7 as well as an iPad mini 4. I find that the volume in Skype is very low and doesn't seem to be affected by changing the volume level in the control center.

Tests I've done:

- the volume level in other apps is quite high at the highest setting so I don't don't see how it's a physical problem with the iPad.
- I've used the echo test call in skype and that's low also so it doesn't appear to be the caller.
- I set my iPad mini next to the iPad Pro and called the echo test service and the volume on that is fine so I don't think it's the wifi connection.

Any advice on how to fix this?

Note: I first posted this in the main iPad forum and I couldn't see how to move it.

I have the same issue on messenger video and had to use my iPad 2 or Samsung phone so I could be heard. Also when I connect by Bluetooth to a portable speaker I can't make it loud enough to use outside.
