lower volume dring a call on apple headset

Has anyone noticed that the apple bluetooth headset has lower volume during a call on the 3g iphone? is there somthing wrong with my iphone/headset or is it a software thing?

anyone else having these problems?

Do you mean people can't hear you as well? If so I'm having a similiar problem with my Platronics bluetooth headset. It worked fine with my 1st gen iPhone, now with the 3G iPhone people can't hear me very well.
