Lowered opacity of inactive windows

My iMac randomly began lowering the opacity of some of the windows that aren't on top one day and I can't figure out how to get it to revert to the original setting. It's a bit of an eyesore when there are a bunch of windows

Any ideas? I haven't manually tampered with any settings..

Do you have aFloat installed? Or anything else installed under System Prefs?

Well, sorry, but you must have installed something that triggered it. Some utility like TinkerTool or something, or a haxie?

Exposé wouldn't fade windows like that anyway.

Nothing was installed to my knowledge.. Unless a friend or family member did it but even so, there aren't any extra apps in the Applications folder or anything out of the ordinary in the System Prefs

Considering just re-installing OS X at this point
