iPad mini LTE on or off

hey guys...this is my first ipad LTE version. Just wanted to ask if I leave the cellular on or off even when using wifi? I've read that sometimes the LTE version uses data even when off? Since now I no longer have unlimited data...

As long as you are on WiFi, the iPad should not be using any data. If you are worried it may be using data anyway, even on WiFi, go to Settings, General, Usage, and it will tell you how much data has been used.
