LTE Overseas

So, went with the Verizon iphone as I travel a ton.....in Germany now but can't get an LTE signal for the life of me.....switched carriers and put it on Telekom which supposedly has LTE in Munich but only get 3G...same as my buddy with his AT&T 5.........

Telekom is band 3 and 20. The ATT ip5 is band 4 and 17. LTE wouldn't work.

Your Verizon phone should have band 3, not sure why yours wouldn't work.. has it been unlocked yet?

Verizon comes unlocked from factory, I am roaming so shouldn't be an issue....I got 4 choices of carriers here but can't pick up an LTE signal here...

It could be that the carrier settings aren't available within the device, maybe? The device is still quite new. Maybe try syncing it on iTunes with the foreign SIM in it.
