Has anyone else noticed that you don't get an LTE signal when your battery is lower than 20 percent?

Strange I went to %12 and it went to the 4G icon. As soon as I plugged it in I got LTE back. I'm on AT&T.

Might have been a coincidence. I've noticed LTE vanishes from time to time; I'm betting its on fewer towers than 3G. Your location may have excellent 3G reception but marginal LTE, and somehow plugging it in and putting it down let it find the LTE signal better.

Interesting, the only way is for you tot take it to another place and test your theory there. Much faster than answers on the internet.
