Hi All,

Is it normal on an AT&T iPhone 5 that the lte symbol turns to 4g on a phone call and then takes a second to go back to lte when you hang up? Can you not talk on the phone while surfing at LTE speeds? Thanks!

AT&T has stated that during phone calls, data will fall back to HSPA+ instead of LTE.

AT&T doesn't support LTE over voice so it has to switch to 3G to make the call and since there isn't another radio in the phone to do LTE and 3G at the same time, you have to deal with 3G.
