Hi everyone,
I plan on buying an unlocked iPhone 6.
I am confused about where to get it from - I live in the UAE - and have an option to buy one from Canada or the UK, with UK being a bit more expensive.
I was always under the impression that only the UK version LTE would work here, and not in Canada. So I bought an unlocked iPhone 5C and I am got 4G here in the UAE. However, when I travelled to Canada this summer, I got LTE.
I was also under the impression that LTE was faster than 4G, and there are phones here that run on a network that get LTE.
Now I want to know, what is the difference between 4G and LTE?
And now the LTE (Canada) vs. 4G LTE (UK) for the iPhone 6. What is the difference or which is better for me? Comparing the two versions, they both seem to have the same LTE bands, so I don't know what the difference is, other than the name?
Thanks
