I noticed that one of the models of the iPhone 5 will use LTE band 4, which is 1700/2100 MHz. This is also the AWS band that T-Mobile USA uses for their HSPA+ 4G service. How different is the technology? Will the iPhone 5 be able to use this band for HSPA+ data and therefor be able to get full speed 4G on T-Mobile?

I'd like to try, but I'd rather not spend $649 to be a risky guinea pig.
