Obtain new LTE Apple Watch (SE or 7...or whatever new one might be around the corner)
Pair it with my current iphone - do not enable Cellular on it, my plan is prepaid so I don't think it allows the typical phone number sharing thing that the watch does.
Go to a 3rd party data only plan setup like truphone and have it assign a new number to the watch
Assuming bullet 3 is do-able at this point (I've done this with a family sharing with a watch that doesn't have a iphone paired and the watch does get it's own cell number/data etc.). But I'm wondering what would happen in the case above with notifications/messages to the iphone's number - only show up on the watch when it's within bluetooth range?
