I just got a Verizon iPad it shows 3G but not LTE and I am in the LTE coverage area. I called Verizon and they informed me that it will not show LTE until I activate the data plan. Is anyone's Verizon iPad showing LTE before activation?

I'm having the same issue but I haven't called Verizon about it.

Ok so it is probably normal then. They told me the wireless is active, but not the sim. That is why I can see a 3g signal but not LTE. I don't want to pay $20 just to make sure may LTE is functioning. Hopefully others will chime in.
