Lucida Sans in Trash at startup

Every time I start up my PowerBook, I find that the Lucida Sans font is in the Trash, but only in my account. The Guest Account seems to be unaffected. I believe that this is Leopard specific, but I haven't tried Tiger recently.

I've run an fsck and permissions repair multiple times. Does anybody know how to fix this annoyance? Thanks in advance.

I have had the same problem, but not limited to one font. It seems to be a cache related issue, but it does not affect the system adversely, so you do not need to worry about it. But it is irritating. I found that using Onyx to delete the font caches and then running Font Book to eliminate font redundancies (selecting fonts with a black circle/dot and using the pull down menu, forgot which one, to resolve redundant fonts) will clear the problem for a while, but it may come back. Hopefully this will be resolved in the next 10.5.8 update or at least in Snow Leopard (which won't run on my old Power Mac G5!).
