Luggage question

i'm going to be travelling over the holidays and had a couple of questions about what can be carried in check-in luggage (its been a long time since ive had to carry any).

1. Can i put game controllers(with built-in batteries) in luggage?
2. Can i put a bottle of wine and cologne in luggage?

@mobilehaathi is quite right re No 2: I do that all the time, as well.

Re No 1, I suspect that different carriers might have different regulations, but it would be wise to check them out in advance.

In the US, you're fine with game controllers / game devices / AR/VR gear (both integrated rechargeable type and those that use removable AA). You might be asked to remove them for visual inspection or a wipe down.
