Posted this in the OSX forum. Not sure where is best, but here's my problem...

So I just noticed that my Dashboard widget "Harmonic" is now giving me the following for lyrics:

"Unfortunately, due to licensing restrictions from some of the major music publishers we can no longer return lyrics through the LyricWiki API (where this application gets some or all of its lyrics).

The lyrics for this song can be found at the following URL:
http://lyricwiki.org/The_Killers:Everything_Will_Be_Alright

(Please note: this is not the fault of the developer who created this application, but is a restriction imposed by the music publishers themselves.)"

Whats worse is that Harmonic is putting THAT into my songs as lyrics. Does anyone know of a good replacement lyrics widget???

Yeah, LyricWiki had to shut down their API (what 3rd party apps use to get lyrics from it). So basically if you're looking for anything that uses lyrics from LyricWiki you're out of luck :(.

Lyric screenlet / widget like Ubuntu Linux

Hey guys,

When I got my first mbp april this year I downloaded a widget for osx with running lyrics as the song progressed.

Now I cant find this for osx anymore, only for linux ( Screenlet - Lyrics)

Where did the osx version go? And is it still available for download anywhere?

Found it...

What I was looking for is the LessLyrics Widget for osx.

Its really good but the sources for the lyrics look up should be better...
