Lyrics not syncing from iTunes to iPhone

Lately I've noticed that new songs I have purchased are not syncing the lyrics to my iPhone. It always has before. I have automated my lyric searching, so when I play the song it auto searches for lyrics. If it doesn't find them, then I just copy and paste the lyrics into the lyric section of the file.

The lyrics show up fine on my iMac in the widget for it, but not on the iPhone. What the hell??? Anybody having this problem? Is it a bug?

I had the same problem today also - but read somewhere here to download directly from the apple site and install the very latest version. IT WORKS!
All lyrics restored to my I touch with no residual side effects.
