Apple Music Lyrics with Matched

Hey everyone,

Just restored my phone and turned on my Apple Music. I’ve noticed that any music matched prior to using Apple Music doesn’t have live lyrics. But if I go manually search the song in Apple Music then it will. Even songs that were matched and not just uploaded according to my Mac Music App.

Is this expected behaviour?

Is the only fix to manually add all Apple Music versions of my huge library?

I recently had to do the same, and noted lots of weirdness with the downloads (https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/purchased-and-matched-music-silliness.2379933/), but not that. The majority of all my old matched, purchased, and even uploaded songs have live lyrics.
