I have a keystation 49 that I use for Reason 4.0, but I want to get some sort of drum finger pads to tap out more complex beats easier and faster (I was once a professional drummer).
I am looking at the new Axion 25, it could replace my large Keystation 49 and also add those 8 finger pads. Or, the Triggerfinger, which would just add in with the keyboard, and give me 16 finger pads and some other knobs sliders.
Has anyone used either/both? Really, I want one where the fingerpads are velocity sensitive, so I can program Reason to use different samples for the velocity (so the drums have different sounds for how hard I hit). I know the Triggerfingers will work, but I would prefer the Axiom 25. But, the Axiom 25's website says it has "similar" finger pads, but not the exact same.
If anyone here has used either, please post your thoughts, especially if you have used them in Reason.
