M-Audio BX5a vs Audio Engine A2/A5

The M-Audios are going for $199 now and they appear to be comparable to the Audio Engine A5s, but for the price of the A2s. I am missing something? Are the A5s any better for $125 more?

I listen to prog, metal, jazz, pretty much the whole spectrum. They will be attached to my MBP in my room.
