In Windows, my FW410 keeps skipping, popping and crackling. It sounds like a buffer size problem but no matter what buffer size i set it at, it happens. Recording or playback, doesn't matter, and worst of all, all these little bleeps and bloops get recorded as well.
It happens with both the Direct Sound drivers and the ASIO drivers.
What the hell is going on? I'm at the end of my tether here...i'm really hoping it's a Beta Boot Camp issue and that it'll be solved when Windows is happy with all the mac hardware.
I'm using an SR MBP and Windows XP Pro.
