Hey everyone can someone tell me the different between these two m-audio keyboards? The ProKeys 88sx compared to the 88ES. What's the difference between a stage piano and a midi? Sound quality? Other than price what are the differences?

The 88sx stage piano has a piano sound module built in (7 different instrument sounds), The 88es has no sounds of its own, you have to connect it via MIDI to a computer or a sound module, to get any audio. Both have a semi-weighted keyboard action - closer to an organ than to a piano. The feel of the action is a big factor to somone who is experienced playing piano.

The ProKeys 88 is more sturdily built and has a better fully-weighted, hammer key action for performance. It is much more realistic to how a piano feels.

So which one is more cost effect and true piano sounding? I'm a total noobie at this? Or are there any other usb solutions out there?
