Apparently it went offline AFTER some folks hacked a bit deeper to find source: IT WAS STILL RUNNING *NIX!! HAH! ROTFL!!!!!

They actually patched the site up to ACT like a wintel box rather than switch it!! As soon as this was out and known it dropped off the net entirely.......now it doesn't even give the error......it's just GONE!!

When MS first bought Hotmail, wasn't it run of of UX servers and it took them massive amounts of money to convert the servers to NT, which made the site worse of than it had been before?
