I was just about to switch to an iMac but thought I would check with my bank that their web site was compatible with Apple. Spoke to an M&T bank techie who told me that they could not guarantee their site would always work with Apple, said it was designed for Microsoft computers & software and it might be erratic with Apple; for a number of reaons I can't switch to another bank.
Has anyone any experience of using M&T banks internet banking site with an Apple computer? Does it work okay? Is this a common problem - i.e. am I going to have problems with secure financial web sites if I switch to Apple - this could be a deal breaker.

Thanks for any help anyone can give.

I have yet to have any problems with multiple financial institutions when using Safari and Firefox - sometimes Safari has issues, but Firefox always seems to come through for me on those sites. Also, of course, there's still Internet Explorer for Macs.

Unless the site uses and requires ActiveX, you should be fine.
