M-Tech Design carbon fibre case

I ordered one of these carbon fibre cases more or less as soon as the site was opened late on Friday night, I received my case today (Monday) stunning service.

The case comes in two parts, a type of rubber inner and a beautiful carbon fibre outer, fit and finish is superb.

I'm absolutely delighted. Well recommended.

I've been waiting for these guys to release this case. When it finally went live last week I just couldn't bring myself to drop that kind of cash.

I'm burned out on the designer cases for now. Maybe revisit later.

Any affect on GPS/Reception/WiFi?
 
There doesn't seem to be any degradation of service, I'm in a pretty poor reception area at the best of times, but the bars seem to be the same as normal, I will be able to tell better at work tomorrow and will report back with the results.

I do know what you mean about designer cases though, I have a good fist full, but TBH, this has blown me away, none of the others look or feel as good as this.

I didn't even look. Are they shipping across the pond to the US?

How is the first on the case? I can't tell exactly how it works do you put the rubber shell on first and then insert that in the carbon shell? Does the carbon shell fit nice and tight?

Not sure what you mean by the "first on the case"

To answer your two other questions yes you put the rubber on first and then the carbon, although it is possible to fit the rubber in the carbon and then fit the phone into both.

Yes, tight fit.

Sorry, I meant fit not sure why I typed first. Thanks for the response.
 
I got it from an app called iWallpapers HD - Retina 640x960, although it is a free app Im almost certain that I had to upgrade to get further wallpapers and IIRC that wallpaper was in the paid section.

Sorry for the poor info, it was some time ago though.
 
The case looks like the Speck Candyshell, except in 2 layers. x)
You reckon the rubber part might start peeling or is it silicone?
 
Do you use screen protectors with this one? (they work good together?)
does it provide a good bump (generall) protection?
do you think its worth the price?

I dont use a screen protector, I prefer the screen as is.

Yes, I would say that the phone would be protected if it was dropped, I would not be inclined to try it to see the result though.

My iPhone cost me £499, this high quality case cost £80ish, so for me it is worth the price, it is the only case that makes my phone look as good with it on as off, if one wants better protection, I suppose there are better, Otterbox springs quickly to mind, but this one seems to marry looks and protection better than others I have owned.

OMG cant wait this loverly case is such a stunner, I cant wait to get it and show it of to my mates! :)
 
Guys I have one of the early version of this case and was hesitant to say anything because I'm waiting for the current version to arrive so I can review it.

But since there's now a thread going about it I'll say this.

This case is freaking gorgeous.

just so everyone knows, this is real CF not the vinyl that everyone says is a CF case.

how secure are those rubber tabs on the back?
