After migrating all my Data from my previous MacBook Pro to this new one, it almost filled the 256GB SSD, so I started deleting a bunch of files and freed up around 20GB of space. Then I got a notification that it's almost out of space, so I checked and sure enough there is less than 1GB available. How did this happen? No way out of the blue almost 19GB of data was put back on the SSD, that I didn't put there!

Time Machine is not on. I went back in and freed up around 46GB of more space and have been monitoring it. Right now the space seems to be staying free. So I have no idea what happened before.
