The Ethernet port on my M1 Mac Mini suddenly stopped working today. These are the troubleshooting steps I have been through:
  • I have tried connecting to multiple different router ports and Ethernet cables to rule out external problems.
  • I have run the Mini through the Apple Diagnostics test and that did not find any issues.
  • I have tried the terminal commands suggested in this thread and they unfortunately didn't fix the issue either.
Does anyone have any further ideas or suggestions before I look to book it into the Apple Store for them to take a look at?

If you have another recent Mac, I would try using Apple Configurator 2 on your mini. That will reset or update the firmware and get it back to factory settings, which erasing the Mac using the new Monterey feature can’t do. If that doesn’t work, time to call Apple.
