M1 Mac mini messages does not launch randomly

Does anyone else experience this issue? It just bounces forever sometimes. A restart fixes it, but its a super annoying issue that sometimes leads to starting the computer twice.

Spotlight also isn't working when this happens.

Mine is the 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD version.
