Soundslayer didn't really work great plugged directly into the Mini. It would shut off when no sound and it would interrupt the LG monitor. Bluetooth worked good but wanted a way to cleanly use both the LG, TCL and Soundslayer, if I chose to. The Soundslayer may still shut off when not in use.

I decide to hook up my TCL 43" 5-Series (HDMI to HDMI), LG 4K 28" (Thunderbolt 3 to HDMI) and I'm using a Soundslayer hooked up to the TCL TV (via HDMI Arc) on RC2 Monterey. Seems to work okay so far, for a few hours now. Now, I can use the TCL TV to stream and the Mini (via the TCL) to stream, have a 2nd "monitor" and have great sound. HDMI to HDMI had to go from the Mini to the TCL because I couldn't get HDR without it (rather have it on the TV than on the LG).

If anyone has a better idea, please let me know.
