Ive had this studio for over a month. I set it to sleep before i go to bed. Half of the next days its sleeping, but the other days its awake, sometimes with screensaver on, sometimes on the desktop. Its not connected to any other machine or network. Just ethernet to modem. I turned off wake on network access, but no help.

Check the system log to see what's going on.

I had this several years ago but went through a process and it's not a problem anymore. I went through recommended lists and also changed a setting on my monitors which helped.

I have two external hard drives connected. The backup ejects fine as long as its not backing up. The other NVMe has all my personal data, but no apps. Even with no apps running, when i try to eject the NVMe it says it cant because its in use. So i forced eject, unplugged both drives, and put to sleep. Will see if that works in the coming days.

I found the culprit. I carried over my old Apple keyboard from my mac pro. I cleaned it and hooked it up to the studio. I noticed a clicking sound and found the left arrow was stuck. After messing with it i thought i fixed it, but i guess not. Sometimes the left arrow sends input and wakes the studio. After disconnecting the keyboard the studio stayed asleep. Time to buy a new keyboard.
