Just got my M1 MBP. I also bought the 27” LG Ultrafine display from Apple.
Unfortunately I am having some issues that I am NOT having with my Intel MacBook Air running Big Sur.
When I set the MBP to fully dim (screen off) and send the MBP to sleep and wake it up the MBP wakes up at +1 brightness. Also on the LG screen if it’s on full brightness it will wake up at 50% brightness (it still says that the screen is 100% but it’s not).
I am assuming that LG need to release a firmware update but I don’t know if they will. I was also looking at other options such as their 32” display but now I wonder if that is going to work right.
Has anyone else tried these displays?
