Imagine if they placed 2-4 of the M1 Max dies into a package that can handle them all?

That's the M1 Pro you have pictured there, the M1 Max SoC has four RAM chips...

Rumors for multiple SoCs (known as a SiP, System in Package) are:
  • Dual M1 Max SoCs / developmental name - Jade 2C / possible marketing name - M1 Max Duo
  • Quad M1 Max SoCs / developmental name - Jade 4C / possible marketing name - M1 Max Quadro
And the possible Mac Pro lineup:
  • 32" iMac Pro
  • Mac Pro Cube
  • Mac Pro
