MacBook Pro M1 Max Gaming test with Spyro Reignited on highest possible graphic settings, while being EMULATED through Parallels on Windows 11 at a 3600x2250 resolution.

Reminder: These MacBook Pros have INTEGRATED graphics, not dedicated. It’s also emulated. Mind. Blown.

I actually tweeted the video here if you want to see:

Downloading SolidWorks at the moment to try in Parallels. If anyone is interested on 3D CAD, standby.

14" M1 Max w/32 core

Only thing is I am using the trial of Parallels until I see how well SolidWorks plays out. So I am restricted to 8GB RAM and 4 Cores. If it works well even for the limited resources I will upgrade to paid version to run much higher settings.

Calling it integrated graphics is a bit disingenuous, as that term is generally reserved for the very barebones GPUs which CPUs ship with.

Technically, yes, the GPU is 'integrated' if you mean, the device has the CPU and GPU on the same chip, but you wouldn't call the PlayStation 5's GPU 'integrated' for example, even though that's also an SoC.

Yes pls. My decision to purchase M1 pro 14 will depend on your answer.

Let us know how you get on.

Haven't made M1 jump yet but very tempted now Vectorworks is M1 native. Currently Windows in Parallels on Intel Mac and on Windows desktop for acoustic modelling software SoundPlan (sort of a GIS / raytracing hybrid).

Have you experienced any issues with Parallels running Windows ARM where an application doesn't like the x64/x86 on ARM?

Keen to hear from any M1 / Parallels users who have been able to get d&b NoizCalc to work on ARM. NoizCalc is the freeware baby sister of SoundPlan https://www.dbaudio.com/global/en/products/software/noizcalc/

I have a 64GB 2019 Intel model, and gaming has been very impressive, both in vmware Fusion and Parallels.

The only game which didn't play well in the Intel was Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, which even at low graphics, was choppy. But considering it's heavy requirements, Im surprised it worked at all.
