M1 MBA updated from Ventura to Sonoma. Had no issues plugging into external display but ever since updating to Sonoma it can’t seem to stay on without restarting when in clamshell mode connected to XDR display. I come back to an unresponsive laptop (ie doesn’t wake with external peripherals) then I open laptop to see I’m at login screen after a reboot. When I log in it says the computer restarted because of a problem. Has happened about 10 times since updating. Anyone experiencing this? Doesn’t happen if not connected to display

Turns out it was caused by screen saver that was set to show photos from my Favorites album. Unclear why it is causing kernel panic and I still can't enable it without issue in Sonoma but after disabling that it is working fine
