I love my macbook pro m1, but getting annoyed by the frequent daily prompts to force quit applications.

Usually I have google chrome, safari, twitter, signal and whatsapp running. But it seems to overload my macbook system.

Have macbook pro m1 with 16 gigs ram...

it asks me to quit any app ... says running out of memory .

that definitely seems bizarre. Have you had a look at activity monitor? Have you tried restarting?

bump. Looked at both. Thought it might have been websites causing it. Maybe chrome. So I've stopped using chrome, etc.

But I'm still getting a lot of prompts. Not sure why. Doing a complete reinstall feels painful... but maybe its what I need to do? I had migrated from my 2016 MacBook pro...

Right now I have safari open with 3 tabs. Microsoft excel, twitter and WhatsApp and its complaining about ram usage .... Doesn't feel like that should be overwhelming the system at all...
