Got a brand new 13' MBP and love it. Great device, perfect screen. But noticed yesterday that when I hit the 1 key repeatedly it sometimes seems to click twice during release. It works fine and it doesn't do it all the time. Maybe 1 or 2 out of 20. Is this something within specs or a defect? I am afraid to enter the return game with an otherwise perfectly functioning system. Grateful for your expertise.

Haven't noticed that with my M1 MBP.

Need to decide if you'd prefer to return/exchange the computer vs waiting a while and having it repaired.

I wouldn't just "live with it".

What do you do with the computer that requires this? And when you do it, you hear a click 1 or 2 times out of 20? I don't think that sounds significant.

Had a service provider checking it. He said that as long as it’s registering the press it isn’t an issue.
