M1 MBP v MBA trackpad

I have both machines here because im not sure which one I want to keep

The trackpads are hugely different sounding IMO.

I currently have a 13 inch MBP from early 2015

The new air has silent clicking option, MBP does not. Both machines on the lightest click setting sound very different. The Air has a subtle click, the pros is much more clicky sounding like a squeaky sound.

Is the Pro trackpad suppose to be like that?

I think its because the 2015 PHYSICALLY clicks the newer track pad are just touch based that FEEL like they are clicking.
