Hey Guys, thinking of a M1 .... I am worried about the airs 400 vs 500 Nit Brightness... Is it noticeable? I dont need the touch bar, and would like the air... Anyone ever compared the 2 displays side by side? thanks!

There are several youtube videos that do this. My opinion is the extra brightness only helps if you work in a very bright environment, such as outdoors, a lot.

I haven't used the M1 Air, but I can say that inside my house I'm not typically using the MBP at full brightness. So the real-world usefulness of having an extra 100 nits may not be that big of a deal, even though it seems like a solid advantage on paper.
