M1 Pro (2021) and Pro Display

Hi,

I have a 2021 MacBook Pro M1. I am currently running one Pro Display XDR with no issues. I would like to add a second Pro Display but I am not certain if the Pro M1 can support two of these. The supporting documentation says:

• Up to two external displays with up to 6K resolution at 60Hz at over a billion colors (M1 Pro)

I read this as saying the Pro M1 can support two 6K monitors. However, I find the language confusing because I can also read it as saying it can support two external displays but, in the aggregate, the two displays cannot exceed 6k. I called Apple support and the recommendation was he thought two would work. I don't want to purchase the second one unless I'm sure it will work. Can anyone confirm? Also, if anyone is running this setup, have there been any problems?
