M1 Pro and 5k2k support

I have been googling, looking at the forums etc. and can’t find a clear answer to this. Some users report bad support for 5k2k resolution and some love it, but don’t specify which Mac they are using(or reporting M4 Pro/Max). I’m thinking of buying the new GX9 from LG, which supports 165hz and 5k2k resolution.

I’m wondering if it should support HiDPI-modes for this resolution and also what refresh rate I should expect?

My 14” MBP with M1 Max has no issues with my 5k2k 60hz monitor - runs perfectly. No idea on higher refresh rates but it handles the resolution fine.
