Has anyone found a keyboard shortcut for keyboard backlighting brightness? You can adjust it from the control center icon with the menu bar, but I was curious if there's a keyboard shortcut for it as well.

F1 to dim it, and F2 to make it brighter? I don't have one to test, but that's usually what those key caps mean.

Traditionally, it was F5 and F6. It looks like they've replaced those keycaps with a microphone switch and do not disturb switch. F1 and F2 are display brightness toggles. You may have the option to remap the function keys an assign them to various shortcuts in System Preferences, but it is not something I've ever had to deal with.

I've used BetterTouchTool to set Fn+F5/Fn+F6 as keyboard illumination down/up. I may end up using those more than dictation/DND honestly so I may just change them so it works without the Fn key.
