Hi I am unsure which is the better way to go. I am not a video or photo editor, but I do want the best longevity for the machine and general performance. Would it be better to purchase the Mac mini M2 with 24gb of ram 1tb ssd or the Mac mini M2 Pro with 16gb of ram and 1tb ssd?

thanks

It's hard to find 1tb ... do you think I am ok with 512? or should I bite the bullet and special order 1tb? It seems most of my machines by virtue of my apps and iCloud cache take up about 230-240 of my ssd.

Can someone explain what iCloud cache is and how it effects your Mac's hard drive?
