M2 MacBook Air Shells - Think available soon?

1) Can people comment here who have dropped their MB Air or Pro a few times and how well (or not) their brand of Plastic Hard Shell Case protected their MacBook? That would be good info as we decide on the brands that will hopefully soon be releasing their products for the M2 MacBook Air.
2) Anyone had experience and can describe using "Heavy Duty" cases like these below for prior year MacBooks? Not sure if I would opt for 'Heavy Duty' versions, as they add 1+lb, but might actually be a better choice for my use.

My experience.
I have a Kuzy brand plastic shell on my 2013 13" MBA that has weathered a several drops over the years w/ just a bit of crack to the plastic case but not hurting the MBA itself. My Mosimo keyboard cover has left subtle marks on the screen, but that could well be from using with dirty hands on my coffee service delivery route and rarely cleaning the KB cover.
I'd like a clear plastic case w/ matte finish because my MBA get moved/handled ALOT.

My Incase shell has saved my M1 MBA many, many times and is worth every penny. I tried a No Name shell from Amazon for three days and sent it back because it didn’t fit right. Was cheap and I liked the design but plastic was relatively thin so protection was questionable.

Thanks for the recommendation of your M1 MBA Incase hard shell. I just sent an email to support@incase.com asking when they anticipate having cases for the 2022 Macbook Air M2.
Incase replied to my inquiry about making a case for our 2022 MBA M2. Short answer: "I hope it will be available by early fall 2022."

A case that I tried did not work out. ProCase Hard Shell Case for MacBook Air 13.6 Inch 2022 Model A2681 via Amazon. The case did not close all the way or seat completely at the end that opens. It left a gap. This made me feel that over time, it might wear out or break the hinge of the MBA. I returned it and am now looking for a different heavy-duty case.
