So, I just got the Mac Studio M2 Ultra and have the old LG UltraFine 21.5" u3224kb as a secondary vertical display. I haven't been able to figure out how to get the display to wake from sleep—I have to unplug the cable and plug it back in. I would really prefer to plug it in the back of the Studio and forget about it.

Any ideas?

Just in case anyone is having the same problem, I solved it by updating the firmware on the u3224kb LG 22MD4KA. This required installing LG Screen Manager from the App Store; when I opened that, it detected the available firmware update and applied it (took close to 10 minutes). Now the display is waking from sleep just fine.

The app has no other useful functions. I use the Lunar app to control my external monitors' brightness.

[EDIT: Whoops, the u3224kb is the Dell 6K I also have. It had trouble too, but I turned on Fast Wakeup using the on-screen controls.]
