M3 iMac 8 core GPU vs 10 core GPU

Hello all,
I am a light user. Some light photo editing, watching you tube and the occasional movie. I've decided to go with the 16GB memory and the 512 SSD. Is there a real difference between the 8 core and the 10 core? I understand the 10 core has 2 more parts on the back but would my money be better spent on an adapter to give me more ports? Thanks!!

the difference is about 20% in gpu maxed scenarios.

you probably won’t notice. your tasks could be happily done on an ipad and the 8 core is way more than you need.
