We're tracking new record low prices across the entire M3 iPad Air lineup today, with discounts available at both Amazon and Best Buy. These massive $150 discounts beat the previous all-time lows tracked during Prime Day by about $30.

What's going on with all these deals? Why are they happening in quick succession? Is the economy that bad?

These M3 Air's are the iPads to get and these deals are good. You can get a like new one at Best Buy for around $420. Just returns that look new, that you can examine in-store, and swap out, etc.

I just bought one a few days ago for $500

Are there similar discounts in EU? It seems to me that Apple retailers wont give similar discounts.

I wish I could think of a reason to have an iPad. :)

I know a lot of people get plenty of use from them but I’ve had a few in the past and it was just not something I used much.

I’m enough of tech-goblin to want one because I think it’s a nice piece of hardware……sigh.

They are getting rid of the old supply for the new iPad’s coming
Another reason that has been speculated on was the abnormally high pull-forward or bulk pre-buying of supply that Apple (and many other companies) did to avoid certain tariff scenarios. And now they have to sell of that excess supply. We should know if this was actually the case with next quarter’s officially reported numbers.

In the EU (Finland at least), the base 11 inch iPad Air starts at €739 which comes to... $861

I've considered getting an 11-inch but I'm not sure if it is that much faster than my A17 Pro Mini and the smallish form factor of the Mini makes it great for the nightstand. Heckuva price though, makes me think a spec upgrade is near.

Nice deals on the M3 iPad Airs. I may pick one up for my wife. As an aside, I have to scratch my head over the fact that even these very latest iPad Airs are limited to WiFi 6E.

These iPads were just updated in March. How soon to you expect new iPads?
Exactly. iPad Air was the last to get a rev a few months ago. The other iPads merit a rev far more than the Air. If anything, Amazon has a huge stockpile thanks to the tariff scare so they need to get rid of them, first now during back-to-school, and next probably on Black Friday or Prime Week.
