About to place an order for once of these bad boys.. Just wondering about the graphics options available. From what i found seems like the M390 would be a decent performer for my usage needs, lightroom mostly. However would it be sufficient for final cut pro x? as I am planning to start editing 4K videos...

Rest of the specs in looking at.. 3.3 ghz i5, 256gb ssd (should be sufficient together with my 4TB external storage) 24gb ram (upgrade myself)...

I'm no expert in video editing, but these kind of applications seem to benefit quite well from better GPU. Also, the benchmarks show quite a substantial improvement upgrading from the M380 (http://barefeats.com/imac5k15.html). So if you can afford it, upgrade to the M390, or maybe even beyond that to M395. The M395X may give even better performance, but the improvement is not that much and the cost is steep (and there a many concerns over heat). Then again, there was this thread on Macrumors suggesting 4k video editing could really benefit from the extra VRAM.
