I just watched M3GAN 2.0, and it has some VERY thinly veiled jabs at Apple, especially with respect to planned obsolescence.

On the one hand, I feel like I should be offended by this - but on the other hand, some of my recent experiences with Apple have made me think they might have a point.

I’m curious how fellow Apple people felt about this.

I didn’t watch the movie but as a general rule, I don’t really care what anyone in Hollywood thinks.

What, Apple taking advantage of planned obsolescence? Inconceivable! Everything I hold dear has been undermined and I feel totally betrayed. Please say it isn't true. Oh, Tim, why have you forsaken us? This would never have happened if Steve Jobs was still alive (etc. etc.) /s

Seriously, the question is not if it's how bad? - by the standards of an industry where this is standard operating practice.
