Hi,

which all players can open m3u files

I have an m3u file which plays video in vlc player.

I would like to watch it in quicktime, itunes or real player

when i open it in itunes, it shows a tab telling the url is being opened. but once its complete, the file doesn't play.
I have opened the m3u file in textedit and got a link.
when i use this link directly in safari also, it won't work

so, how can i see this streaming video in itunes or quicktime

thanks

Open up VLC and figure out what format the stream is in - this can be done, I'd assume, by looking at the video's info (I haven't used VLC in ages so I don't remember the exact command).

Once that's done, try to locate and install a QuickTime plugin that handles this format - for example, if it's a Windows Media file, Flip4Mac will handle it.
