Following a few all-time low prices on the MacBook Air this morning, Amazon is now discounting multiple M4 MacBook Pro models to new low prices ahead of Black Friday. Many of these require you to clip an on-page coupon in order to see the final deal price at checkout.

Prices start at $1,399.99 for the M4 14-inch MacBook Pro (16GB RAM/512GB), down from $1,599.00. This deal, along with a few others listed below, is a new best-ever price on the M4 MacBook Pro, and right now only Amazon is offering these discounts.

Correct. I bought a MacBook Air from Amazon I changed my mind on and never opened. I had to return it to the actual Amazon warehouse and it still took 3 weeks to process the refund. I actually had to make a credit card payment on the balance I knew would be dropping off eventually.
 
I'm sad I thought $1,474 was as low as it'd go any time in the near future, and of course it drops to $1,399 less than a week after I buy. Not a huge deal, just don't remember the M3 going on that type of sale so fast, so I thought I was good. Loving this machine as someone coming from the original TouchBar MBP.
 
Does Apple offer so many good discounts every year? These seem pretty sweet. It makes me suspicious the M5 models are coming out sooner rather than later. It seems like there has to be a reason they are pricing them so affordably.
 
The M4 Mini 24/512 also has a $49.01 coupon which gets applied at checkout. So discounted to $939 less the $49 coupon brings it under $900 ($889.99). Coupon is good until 11/27. They also have coupons available for M4 Pro Mini, iMac 2 port model, a couple of the MacBook Airs and MacBook Pros.

Only the M4 24/512 Mini coupon expires before the end of the year. Makes me think that there may be a black Friday deal on that configuration.

Of course 3 days after finally buying my MBP M4Pro from Amazon the price goes down $200. Don't think I want to mess with purchasing and returning a laptop. I knew it would eventually get cheaper but didn't think this soon. LOL.
 
I'll bite on the deal, just got Best Buy to match pricing. Local store has it, should have it ready soon. I'm excited, upgrading my day 1 M1 Air.

For those thinking of doing the same and buying from Best Buy, if you have PayPal and a Chase Freedom / Freedom Flex credit card, you could save 10%.


1) Activate quarterly bonus category for your Chase card if you haven't yet. The 5% bonus category for the Oct - Dec 2024 quarter includes PayPal.

2) Save PayPal 5% cash back offer

5% cash back from PayPal + 5% back from Chase = 10%

3) Buy from Best Buy at regular price

4) Check out with PayPal and pay using your Chase Freedom / Freedom Flex card.

5) After purchase goes through, contact Best Buy for a price match. Why? If you have Best Buy do price match first, in my expereince the link they send you to pay for purchase does not have option to check out with PayPal.

I went to Apple store today. He said we don't know. Maybe not even till day of he said.

Same BS everytime. We don't know. Your guess is as good as ours.

Why don't they just tell the employees 1 month ahead of time? What is the harm?

It started, but only on things we don't need. What a joke.
 
I just got a 24GB RAM/512GB SSD M3 Air on sale for $1249. I'm really tempted to return it and get the M4 Pro base model for $150 more.

But laptop is portable, office, vacation, ect. Mini is not portable. No screen.
