Trying to set up my LG oled c4 to my MacBook Pro m4. Direct connection and when setting the resolution to 4k I get an ugly picture and it also can’t go above 60hz. I googled my butt off and also tried 5 different cables. Nothing is working. I want 4K (actual 4K) 120hz. Please help.

Works on my LG CX so unless all your cables are old then the only thing left that MAY work is setting the HDMI port of the LG to be a PC connection.

Press Home on remote

click Home Dashboard on bottom left

top right click 3 dots

click Edit Inputs then click the icon left of your HDMI and set it the PC.

I will try this. Thank you

This worked to fix the resolution but I still can't get 120hz. Thanks
Not sure on that one. You shouldn't need to do this unless you want to enable VRR (40-120hz) but on your C2 if you turn on Instant Game Response and AMD FreeSync on that hdmi input maybe it will triggering something?
