May someone please help me. I am going to trade in my M1 Max 16 inch and buy a M4 Max, but I like to buy a new ultra wide monitor, I was thinking of getting 57" Odyssey Neo G9? Have anyone here used it? Can you confirm with me it will work with M4 Max please?

I don’t have the M4 Max, but I do have my M3 Max connected to the same Ultra-wide. (It’s the Neo G9 Dual 4K? Model right).

The combo is amazing.

Thank you. Yeah, the Neo G9 Dual 4K, what resolution and refresh rate do you get with the M3 Max?

I have it set to the max resolution [i believe it's 7680x2160] at 120hz w/HDR. I can get 144hz if i do default scaling.

**I do want to note**. This is with HDMI 2.1 cable. You may be able to achieve higher refresh rate if you use a DisplayPort 2.1 cable.

really hoping the new M4 Max has the same resolution but with through a single thunderbolt 5 cable (through a dock)...I really like the on-cable setup

Is there a reason you didn't use DP 2.1?

I assume there is no TB4 on this monitor?

Did you guys get it to work? I'm looking at getting this same setup, and want to know if it'll work? Thanks

Just got the Samsung Neo G9 57” and having an annoying issue. Wondering if any of you are as well.

I have 2x 16 inch MBPs connected to it, an M1 (work) and an M4 (personal). Both have same issue where the monitor refuses to turn on if the MBP lid is closed. I've tried this under PBP, PNP, and just one connected at a time and it's the same results. Basically the only way is to keep the lids open, but that's getting to be annoying since the MacBook Pros are taking up unnecessary space on my desk. Additionally, dragging windows across the desktop is causing them to move from the monitor to the respective MBP display.

I've already enabled "Prevent automatic sleeping on power adapter when the display is off" but it did nothing.

I've tried both with the supplied Samsung cables and with the Cable Matters cables/adapters, again same result.

Anyone experience something similar?
